Sanity break from work on TMOS proposal. It worked, that is sanity was maintained, and we eventually won the proposal some eight months later. After three years of pretty cool and often intense work the project was cancelled much to everyone's dismay ...

Victor drove up from Bakersfield, and we went up Overhang Bypass, a long moderate route that does not get a lot of press - maybe due to the longer approach and fairly long descent. The signature pitch is a corner crack called the Through - to get into that corner you traverse around an arete where El Cap comes into view all at once for a real Wow moment.
