| I took another short trip with Victor, over Thanksgiving week 1998. With Hueco Tanks mostly closed to climbing, we went to Enchanted Rock, near Austin the weekend before Thanksgiving, and to the Wichitas, in Oklahoma the weekend of. These places have some neat climbing. Both areas are granite, and feature typical cracks and slabs. My favorites were Cave Crack at E-Rock and Stairway in the Wichitas. Clean rock, pro is pretty good, so it was quite worth the trip. |
