I was able to get out twice for a few days at Red Rocks last year. In Feb, the weather was much colder than usual, with some rain thrown in for good measure. The plan was to climb something long on Superbowl Sunday, but we ended up hiking in the rain for a bit, and then watching the game instead. Physical Graffiti and Geronimo were excellent climbs. Too bad it was too cold for anything more serious.

November found us watching more momentous TV, this time after climbing, tho. I did spend Election Day climbing (absentee ballot sent in ahead of time), and toasted the results with the same folks I watched the Superbowl with (Glen friends from Vegas). Glen has some good shots on his blog entry. It was good to hook up with Ben as well.

	Glen looking worried on the approach to First Creek Canyon. Justifiably so. I was sick to my stomach, literally, and instead of the intended 10 pitch route, I only belayed him on a 1 pitch climb ... Upon tying in to clean that, I threw up for the 3d time that morning, and we called it quits. Fortunately I recovered for the next days after logging one afternoon + one night of sleep.
	We followed that inauspicious start by climbing Birdland - which was very good and very crowded (as advertised). Ben joined us the next day. This is the exit pitch on Group Therapy, Angel Food Wall which we climbed as a team of three. The next day,. last before leaving, was devoted to some relaxed cragging in Calico.
