It has been two years since the last trip. Ann and I now also have Talia, who will turn 1 in a few weeks.
Nadia is now a spunky toddler. She spared us much of the terrible twos, but appears to be making up for it
lately - she is also about to turn three. We will be closing on our new house in a couple of weeks - and
we only have a few things packed. So why am I going climbing? The pace of daily life is unrelenting, so
why add more to it?
In retrospect, the trip wasn't especially restful - with the long drive and all - but it did the trick.
Ben and I got spanked a bit by the heat, and by the climbing (me on the Reppy Crack pitch of Moby Grape).
There wasn't much climbing done after that in the fall, and another planned trip to Red Rocks in Nov
fell through, but it was definitely good to take the small break.
